I strive to build beautiful yet functional, one of a kind fly rods you can be proud to own but not afraid to take fishing.

If you are visiting this site, you have progressed to the level in your fly fishing life, you want a custom rod. Just to stand and marvel at the workmanship, and to know there is not another fly rod in the world that is exactly like the one you are holding is a great start to your fly fishing experience.

I will build your rod to order or you can purchase one of my rods from stock. You contact me, we discuss your style of fishing and if your end use is fresh water or salt water, or maybe it is a combination of the two. You will have a choice of reel seat wood, cork handle and line guides. You can select the color thread wrapping you want or if you would like, I can select it for you. We will discuss feather inlays and how they will be used. If you are a proud veteran, I can produce a military theme rod for you.

I usually have a few custom built rods in stock and ready to ship. If you do not see a rod in stock that is exactly what you may be looking for, by all means, give us a call. I would be glad to discuss your fly rod requirements and do a build for you.

I use only the finest components. I build on Sage, Winston, Thomas & Thomas and Orvis blanks. There are a couple of TFO blanks I like to build on. I use Lemke reel seats and I turn my on wood inserts and cork grips. No two are alike. I prefer Snake Brand Universal guides (used on Thomas & Thomas factory rods). Thread choices are endless.
